Having fun with Grampa when he turned 65. The two grandchildren were here, and we had a lot of laughs. I don't have a lot of decorating hints, but this was an idea I got from a wonderful local restaurant where they bake cakes, breads, and are well known for their cookbook,T-shirts with a black dog logo....

Ingredients
- 1 - bundt cake, from scratch or a mix
- 1 box confectioner's sugar
- 1 stick butter, cold
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 or 3 tablespoons milk
- - food coloring
How To Make october birthday cake

Step 1Bake a bundt cake, and one cupcake for the top.

Step 2Use your favorite frosting, I like buttercream. Color it for the occasion, this one was near Halloween so I chose a pumkin.

Step 3Get the grandchildren to help. Enjoy the ruckus and help grampa celebrate.
