Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 cup crisco
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 - eggs
How To Make oatmeal cookie sheet cake

Step 1Mix the boiling waterand otameal and set aside for 20 minutes. Cream together crisco, white and brown sugars. Add the 2 eggs and beat well. Mix 1 1/2 cups flour with 1/2 tspn salt, 1/2 tspn soda, 1 1/2 tspn cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture and beat. Then add 1 tspn vanilla and oatmeal and beat. Spread in a norml size cookie sheet WITH SIDES UP TO 1 INCH, Bake 35 minutes at 325 degrees. While cake bakes, make frosting. Melt 2 cube butter (Oleo); add 1/2 cup Pet Milk, 1 1.2 cups brown sugar, 1 cup coconut and 1/2 cup nuts. Pour over baked cake and BROIL at 500 degrees until frosting bubbles, turn heat low and put in oven and leave for 5 minutes.
