Ingredients
- BASE:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate squares (1 oz. each)
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup toasted pecan pieces
- FILLING:
- 16 ounces 2-8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese,room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- TOPPING:
- 2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
How To Make nutty chocolate squares

Step 1Butter a 9x13-inch glass pan. Base: In a small saucepan melt the butter and chocolate over medium heat stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add the cracker crumbs, coconut and pecans, mix well. Press mixture firmly into bottom of pan.

Step 2Filling: In a large mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Spread over top of crust. Place in refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.

Step 3Topping: In a small saucepan combine the chocolate and butter. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Spread over top of chilled cream cheese mixture. Chill 60 minutes and cut into squares.
