    self rising flour
  • 3/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 2 c
  • 2
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    nutella spread
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract

  • 1 c
    peanut butter, creamy
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 stick
    softened butter
  • 2 c
    confectioners' sugar

  • ·
    hershey's chocolate syrup
  • ·
    hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Nutella the Truth Cake w/ Peanut Butter Cream Frosting


  1. Combine all cake batter ingredients and bake in two non stick pans at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Depending on your oven. Once done, remove from oven and allow to cool thoroughly.
  2. Combine softened butter and peanut butter together with handheld or stand mixer for about 3 minutes. Add in vanilla extract, heavy cream and slowly add in the confectioner's sugar. Depending on your taste you can add a little more cream if it's stiff or if you want even more peanut butter taste add more (but what's listed above should be enough) I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!! Once it is all whisked sit in fridge for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  3. Start to assemble the cake add peanut butter cream and then drizzle some Hershey's chocolate syrup and add chocolate chips. Repeat with the top layer (mine is without the chocolate chips on top, but I made a pool of syrup in the middle so that when you cut into it, it drizzles down into the remaining cake like lava) ENJOY
