If you like chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate center then this is for you! I found this recipe and made a few adjustments, but thought I'd share this extremely more-ish recipe with everyone. This will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth!

Chocolate lovers... you are in for a treat. This chocolate molten cake is paradise. Serve hot and enjoy the ooey, gooey melted hazelnut center. This dessert will have you scraping the bottom of the ramekin and cherishing every last bite. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you'd like. This easy dessert is rich and delicious.

Tip: Don't bake past the 35 minute mark even if the cakes aren't cracked. You want a gooey center so a little undercooked is better than it being cooked until it's a solid cake. The Test Kitchen

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa, unsweetened
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3 oz
    semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 8 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted, cut into pieces
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 6 Tbsp
    Nutella
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered sugar (if desired)

How to Make Nutella Molten Chocolate Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease six 6 oz. ramekins.
  2. In an oven roasting dish pour in 1/2 inch of hot water. Place dish in the oven.
  3. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa and baking powder.
  4. Combine chocolate and butter in a bowl, microwave on high, stirring once or twice, until almost melted (approx. 1 minute). Whisk until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, vanilla extract, sugar and salt until pale yellow.
  6. Beat in the melted chocolate mixture.
  7. Stir in the flour mixture.
  8. Fill all 6 ramekins halfway with batter.
  9. Drop in 1 tbsp of Nutella into center of each.
  10. Then cover with remaining batter.
  11. Transfer ramekins to the roasting dish.
  12. Bake until cakes have risen and are cracked on top, about 35 minutes.
  13. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
