Step-by-Step

  1. This is the original recipe for the crust. I personally like my crust not thick but a little thicker. I suggest go up a half on everything or you can double it. Personal choice.
  2. Preheat oven to 350° In a medium bowl combine graham cracker crumbs, chopped nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and melted butter (which has cooled. Mix well and press into a 9 in.springform pan which has been sprayed with Pam. Bake for 10 min. Remove and let it cool completely. Turn your oven down to 300°
  3. The cheesecake I change things just a little and it turn out great!
  4. Oven should be set at 300°. In a large bowl beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Beat in sour cream and heavy cream. Blend in flour and vanilla. With mixer on low speed add one egg at a time. Pour batter over crust.
  5. Bake 80 -90 min. or until center is almost set (filling will be soft) turn off oven. Leave the cheesecake in the oven for an hour with the door closed. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it sit for another 20-30 min. Then refrigerate for 6 hrs or over night before removing from pan.
