This cake is my sisters recipe and every time we have a family gathering we all request it. The whole family just loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c
    cocoa powder
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    soda
  • 1/3 c
    coconut
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    plus 2 tablespoons liquid oil
  • 2 c
    water
  • ICING

  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    cooking oil
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 c
    coconut
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make No egg chocolate cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Stir first 5 ingrediants in a bowl then add coconut. Make a well and add vinegar, vanilla extract, cooking oil and water. Mix well by hand then pour into a 9x13 greased and floured cake
    pan. Bake 40-45 minutes @ 300 degrees
  2. Icing
    Bring first five ingrediants to a boil. Boil exactly 1 minute. Remove from heat and add nuts coconut and vanilla. Let cool 3-5 minutes then pour over cooled cake.
