This is a very quick dessert that tastes delicious and is great to take along for any gathering. I had to come up with a dessert one time and I didn't have enough time to bake something. I just had to use what I had on hand. This is a recipe I use when I am in a hurry.

    (10-inch) prepared angel food cake
  • 1 pkg
    (1.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 can(s)
    (21 oz) cherry pie filling

How to Make No-Bake Cherry Pudding Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Tear or cut the Angel Food cake into bite-size pieces
  2. Press into an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk. Beat until thickened, about 2 or 3 minutes. Spread over the cake.
  4. Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the pudding and chill for at least one hour before serving.
