no bake cheesecake

This is one of my favorites. I first heard of it a few years ago as I helped a friend with her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. We used mini cupcake cups and vanilla waffers then toped then with the filling. The funny part was none of the girls had the patience to wait so they ate them after less than twenty minutes in the fridge.

Ingredients
- - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup whipped topping (cool whip)
- - 1 graham cracker pie crust, prepared
- - 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling (or any pie filling)
How To Make no bake cheesecake

Step 11. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy.

Step 22. Beat in sugar, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth.

Step 33. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined.

Step 44. Pour into the prepared pie crust.

Step 56. Let chill for 4 hours until set up.

Step 67. Just before serving, top with your chosen pie filling. Enjoy!
