Ingredients For new york crumb cake
- CRUMB TOPPING:

2 1/2 call purpose flour

1 cdark brown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspcinnamon, ground

2 stickbutter, unsalted, melted
- CAKE:

1/4 c+ 1 tsp canola oil

3 c+ 1 tsp all purpose flour

1 csugar
-
2 Tbspbaking powder
-
1 tspsalt
-
2 x lgeggs
-
1 cmilk
-
1 Tbsppure vanilla extract
-
confectioners' sugar
How To Make new york crumb cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2TOPPING: In a medium bowl, combine flour brown sugar & cinnamon. Pour melted butter over mixture & stir gently until large crumbs form.

3CAKE: Brush a 13" x 9" baking pan with 1 tsp oil; dust with 1 tsp flour. In another medium bowl, combine remaining dry ingredients. In a large bowl, whisk together wet ingredients. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Do not over mix. Spread batter into pan, then sprinkle evenly with crumbs. Bake 25 - 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature. Before serving, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
