I got this recipe from a very good friend of mine when I was stationed in Iceland. I have given this recipe to many of my friends and they say this is the only cheesecake they make.

  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c
  • 4 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 4
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice concentrate

How to Make New York Cheesecake


  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, crumbs and sugar. Pat firmly in bottom of spring form pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. beat in 2 tablespoons of flour. Gradually add eggs one at a time. Add sweetened condensed milk and beat until smooth. Add lemon juice and mix well. pour into prepared pan and bake 1 hour or until golden brown. Cool at room temperature.
