I got this recipe from a very good friend of mine when I was stationed in Iceland. I have given this recipe to many of my friends and they say this is the only cheesecake they make.

butter, melted
1 1/4 c
graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c
4 pkg
cream cheese
2 Tbsp
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c
lemon juice concentrate

How to Make New York Cheesecake


  • 1preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, crumbs and sugar. Pat firmly in bottom of spring form pan.
  • 2Beat cream cheese until fluffy. beat in 2 tablespoons of flour. Gradually add eggs one at a time. Add sweetened condensed milk and beat until smooth. Add lemon juice and mix well. pour into prepared pan and bake 1 hour or until golden brown. Cool at room temperature.
