Nesquick Ying Yang Brownies

Chelsea Mitcham

My boyfriend doesn't like super sweet desserts and honestly neither do I. One day we were watching football with some friends and one guy randomly hinted that he'd like some brownies, but we had no brownie mix per say. I love experimenting to make due with what ingredients are available, and these were all things they had in the cabinet. I had made the nesquik brownies before in similar circumstances, but this time I threw in the pretzels and peanut butter. Chocolate+pretzels+peanut butter=SUPER YUMMINESS!!! It's got the ying and yang of salty and sweet, fudgy, crunchy, creamy

1 1/2 c
1/2 c
butter, melted
2 Tbsp
2 large
1 tsp
1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
2 c
nesquik powder
1/2 tsp
baking powder
2 c
pretzels, roughly broken
3/4 c
peanut butter

1Mix sugar and butter until creamy looking
2Add water, vanilla, and eggs, mix well
3Add flour, nesquik, and baking powder
4Fold in pretzel crumbs then pour into greased 13x9 pan
5Drop peanut butter by dollops onto top of batter then swirl in
6Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, watching well as oven temperature varies
7***Due to the pretzel crumbs you must wait to cut the brownies until they cool if you want to get clean cuts. Also, use a very sharp knife!
****FYI....these are MOST delicious when they are HOT!!!
