Ingredients

1.5 cups unsweetened chocolate squares
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
2 - eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts

How To Make neither cake nor candy (brownies)

Step 1

Melt chocolate and butter together over hot water.

Step 2

Add the sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Step 3

Then add the well beaten eggs.
Step 4

Sift the flour and stir in with the nuts and raisins.
Step 5

Bake in a well-greased shallow pan at 350 for 20 minutes.
Step 6

When cool, cut in squares.
