Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter salted
- 1 stick butter flavor shortening (crisco)
- 5 - eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make nana's pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Mix sugar, butter, and butter flavor Crisco. Mix till lite and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well after each egg is added.

Step 3Sift together flour and baking powder. Add Flour and milk alternating. Add vanilla.

Step 4Spray pound cake or bunt cake pan with cooking spray. Then coat with flour. Pour cake batter in pan . Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 mins.
