Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2-1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/4 cup water
- 2/3 cup sauerkraut, drained, rinsed and chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make mystery chocolate cake

Step 1Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.

Step 2Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Rinse sauerkraut with water, drain and pat dry with a paper towel. Chop fine and stir into cake along with nuts.

Step 3Bake in a greased and floured 9 X 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Step 4Frost with a chocolate frosting.
