Another one of my sister's recipes for her wonderful cakes. It is so easy to put together and it tastes like you fussed a lot. This cake is a winner when she prepares it for church functions. Thanks Sis!

Ingredients For my sister's fuzzy navel cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    peach schnapps
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    orange extract
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda
  • 4 Tbsp
    peach schnapps
  • 2 Tbsp
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    sifted confectioners sugar

How To Make my sister's fuzzy navel cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Mix first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat well, adding 1/8 tsp baking soda.

    Pour into prepared bundt pan. Bake 45-50 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.

    Combine the last three ingredients. Poke holes in the cake while still in the pan and pour liquor mixture over. Allow to cool in the pan a couple of hours before turning out onto a plate and frosting.
