This was my grandmother's VERY OLD German receipe passes down to my mom,now me.My mother is almost 90 and I just made it again for her.Very easy and very differant,but so creamy and good.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups creamed cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter,softened
- 1/2 TSP SALT
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 large eggs
- pinch nutmeg
- 1/2 large juicy lemon/juiced
- 1 1/4 pints whole milk
- 2 - refrigerated pie crusts
How To Make my grandmother's german cheese cake

Step 1Mix all ingrediants well in mixer

Step 2Line 2 pie plates with refrigerated pie crusts or homemade if desired

Step 3pour filling over each.

Step 4Bake in a preheated 350 oven,about 45-60 minuted until firm like a custard.

Step 5CHILL overnight or several hours until very cold.

Step 6Can top with fresh whipped cream if desired or pie filling.
