This is my grandmas receipe, made totally from scratch. Best right out of the oven but still great warmed up in the microwave. Its very quick and easy to make and it makes your house smell amazing!

1 stick butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour (self rising)
1 cup milk
- dark brown sugar
- cinnamon

How To Make my grandma's homemade coffee cake

Step 1

Mix together milk, sugar, flour and butter to make cake like batter. Add more flour if needed.

Step 2

Pour mixture into greased 13 x 9 pan.
Step 3

Sprinkle with dark brown sugar and cinnamon to taste.
Step 4

Bake in 375 degree oven 15-20 min.
