This recipe is Cherie DeGennaro's she says "this recipe evolved over the past 25 years. It was originally the fruitcake recipe from the Nonesuch mincemeat jar and I tweaked it and got it drunk lol."

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 28 ounces mincemeat
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups candied fruit
- 1 cup candied cherries
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups Bacardi gold rum
How To Make my drunken fruitcake

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a Bundt pan.

Step 2Mix flour and baking soda and set aside.

Step 3In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Then blend in the dry ingredients.

Step 4Pour into pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or more till not wet on a toothpick. Cool, turn out of pan.

Step 5*Since I tweaked it with rum and I add double the fruit and cherries the recipe states it can take a lil while extra to cook through but it's worth it.
