I was wanting something different in a cake so I decided to try Mt. Dew. This is a very moist cake. My nephew requested this cake when wewent to visit he loves it.

Ingredients

1 - yellow cake mix
4 - eggs
1 - box of lemon pudding mix
1/2 cup oil
- substitute mt. dew for water amt on cake mix
GLAZE
1/4 cup mt. dew
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter

How To Make mt. dew cake

Step 1

Beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil and mt. dew(use measurement for water on cake mix.

Step 2

Grease 9X13X2 pan pour mixture in pan and bakeat 325 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
Step 3

In meantime mix 1/4 c mt. dew, 1 c sugar and 1 tblsp butter in sauce pan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
Step 4

With a fork poke holes throughout cake pour glaze over cake while cake is still hot.
