Ingredients

4 - large eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk ~ scalded
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

How To Make mrs. fucci's cake ~

Step 1

Gather ingredients and scald milk. Beat eggs, one at a time, and add sugar slowly. Add flour and baking powder. Beat until blended; and add milk slowly to batter. You can add vanilla extract or almond extract.

Step 2

Bake in two 9 inch pans, greased and floured, at 365 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from pans and cool before frosting. The cake is great with strawberries and ice cream.
