This recipe was personally prepared by Deb Berman for the July 2015 meeting of the Curious Cuisiners meeting. It is still good in the refrigerator for a couple of days. If longer, you can freeze. Let thaw in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
- 1 package devils food cake mix
- 1 cup sugar
- 40 large marshmallows(10 oz pkg)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 package (14 oz) coconut
- ICING
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 6 ounces pkg chocolate chips
How To Make mounds cake

Step 1Prepare cake mix as directed on package and bake.

Step 2While the cake is in the oven, mix together in saucepan and cook on low (make sure you continuously stir, it burns easily) the sugar, marshmallows, and milk, bring to a boil.

Step 3Remove from the heat and add the coconut. Pour this mixture over the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. Cool.

Step 4Icing: In a saucepan on medium heat mix the milk, sugar. and butter, bring this to a boil.

Step 5Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Top cake with this mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
