Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons soda in:
- 1/2 cup sour milk (sweet milk/1 tbs vinegar)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa (heaping)
- 1 cup boiling water
- ICING
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 cup marshmallows, mini
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make mother's devils food cake

Step 1Cream butter and sugar.

Step 2Add eggs and milk and vanilla. Mix flour & cocoa and add to creamed mixture. Add boiling water. mix.

Step 3Bake in a tube pan or 9X13 pan for 40 to 45 minutes at 350.

Step 4Prepare Icing: on stove in saucepan add all icing ingredients. Heat to firm ball, let cool, then beat smooth.
