Ingredients
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon all spice
- 2 teaspoons cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening, butter flavor
- 2 - eggs
- 4 tablespoons molasses
- 2 cups buttermilk or sour milk
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 8 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make mother's crumb cake

Step 1Mix together dry ingedients, work in shortening until crumbly.

Step 2Mix together the eggs, molasses and buttermilk. Add to dry miture. Mix. Grease adn flour a large cake pan (larger than a 9x13). Pour mixture into pan.

Step 3Mix together 2 tbsp of flour, 8 tbsp sugar, and 1 tsp of cinnamon. Melt 4 tbsp of butter. Pour the butter over the cake. Sprinkle the dry ingedients over the butter.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
