I got this recipe from betty crocker website. My family loves this. I always make this on christmas morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes betty crocker cinnamon streusel muffin mix
  • 1 cup chopped peeled apples
  • 1 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup coconut, flaked
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 (8oz) cans crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2to4 teaspoons water

How To Make morning glory coffeecake

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 400*. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.In large bowl,stir together both muffin mixes,apple,carrot,walnuts and coconut.In medium bowl,stir together oil,eggs and pineapple;stir into muffin mixture.Spread in pan.Sprinkle with streusel (from muffin mixes).
  • Step 2
    Bake 43 to 45 minutesor until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Cool 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    In small bowl,mix powdered sugar and enough of the 2 to 4 teaspoons of water until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle over warm cake.
