Ingredients

1 pkg
butter cake mix, divided [we use duncan hines]
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 c
pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
4
eggs
1/3 c
oil
1/4 c
water
1/4 c
sugar
1 c
confectioners' sugar
1 OR 2 Tbsp
milk

Step-By-Step

1PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES
2GREASE AND FLOUR A 10 INCH TUBE PAN OR BUNDT PAN.
3STREUSEL FILLING:
4COMINE 2 TBSP. CAKE MIX, BROWN SUGAR AND CINNAMON...
STIR IN NUTS...
SET ASIDE
5CAKE:
6MIX CAKE MIX, EGGS, SOUR CREAM, OIL, WATER AND GRANULATED SUGAR IN A BOWL.
7BEAT AT MEDIUM SPEED FOR 2 MINUTES.
8POUR TWO-THIRDS OF BATTER INTO PAN.
9SPRINKLE STREUSEL FILLING NOW OVER THE BATTER.
10SPOON REMAINING BATTER EVENLY OVER THE FILLING.
11BAKE FOR 45-55 MINUTES OR UNTIL A TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
12COOL IN PAN 20 MINUTES; INVERT ONTO SERVING PLATE.
COOL COMPLETELY.
13GLAZE:
14COMBINE CONF.SUGAR AND MILK IN A BOWL. STIR UNTIL SMOOTH.
DRIZZLE OVER CAKE.
