- 1 package butter cake mix, divided [we use duncan hines]
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
- 4 - eggs
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 OR 2 tablespoons milk

Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES

Step 2GREASE AND FLOUR A 10 INCH TUBE PAN OR BUNDT PAN.

Step 3STREUSEL FILLING:

Step 4COMINE 2 TBSP. CAKE MIX, BROWN SUGAR AND CINNAMON... STIR IN NUTS... SET ASIDE

Step 5CAKE:

Step 6MIX CAKE MIX, EGGS, SOUR CREAM, OIL, WATER AND GRANULATED SUGAR IN A BOWL.

Step 7BEAT AT MEDIUM SPEED FOR 2 MINUTES.

Step 8POUR TWO-THIRDS OF BATTER INTO PAN.

Step 9SPRINKLE STREUSEL FILLING NOW OVER THE BATTER.

Step 10SPOON REMAINING BATTER EVENLY OVER THE FILLING.

Step 11BAKE FOR 45-55 MINUTES OR UNTIL A TOOTHPICK INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN.

Step 12COOL IN PAN 20 MINUTES; INVERT ONTO SERVING PLATE. COOL COMPLETELY.

Step 14COMBINE CONF.SUGAR AND MILK IN A BOWL. STIR UNTIL SMOOTH. DRIZZLE OVER CAKE.
