My mom wrote out this recipe years ago and although I am diabetic, my family isn't and who can resist such a yummy dessert.

I just have a small piece

  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • 2 oz
    chocolate, unsweetened or 1/4 c cocoa
  • 1 c
  • 2
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    flour self-rising
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Mom's Fudge Brownies


  1. In medium saucepan melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Stir in splenda add eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla, stir in flour and nuts. mix well
  3. Spread in greased 8x8x2 inch pan. bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. be careful not to overbake. cool and cut into 16 squares
