On occasion, I find cheesecake to be way too rich. Don't get me wrong, its absolutely delicious. However, I often want the flavor and creaminess without the heaviness. This is the answer! My mom made this for years and it was always our favorite. I know it will be your favorite go-to recipe too!!

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1/4 pound butter, softened
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 - egg
- FILLING
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups milk, low-fat or whole
- - cinnamon to taste
How To Make mom's cheese pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 275 degrees. In a mixer, add all crust ingredients (butter, sugar, flour, baking powder and egg) and mix on medium speed until well blended. Spread evenly over bottom and sides of an 8x8 glass dish.

Step 2Pour filling into crust in dish. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Bake @ 275 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool in oven - cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
