Ingredients For mom/grandma's almond tea cake

1 stickbutter(not margarine)

1 stickmargarine(not butter)

cream the above. gradually add:

1 cwhite sugar

cream well. then add:

1whole egg.

mix well. then add:

1 tspalmond extract
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract

mix and add:

2 cflour
How To Make mom/grandma's almond tea cake

1Pour in greased and floured 9" inch round cake pan. Smooth the top with damp fingers. Brush top with egg white and pour off excess when done. Sprinkle with sliced almonds if desired.

2Bake 10 min. in preheated 400 degree oven. Then reduce over to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 25 min.
