Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup baking cocoa powder
  • 2-3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 2-1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make moist dark chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray 3-9" round cake pans w/ ccooking spray. In lg bowl, pour boiling water over cocoa powder, mix until smooth. Let cool.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, sift together flour, baaking soda, baking powder and salt. In another lg bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time.
  • Step 3
    Stir in vanilla. Beat in flour mix and cocoa mix. Spread batter evenly into paans. Bake about 25 min, or until a toothpick inserted in center comees out clean.
