    boiling water
  • 1 c
    baking cocoa powder
  • 2-3/4 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    softened butter
  • 2-1/4 c
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Moist dark chocolate cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray 3-9" round cake pans w/ ccooking spray. In lg bowl, pour boiling water over cocoa powder, mix until smooth. Let cool.
  2. In another bowl, sift together flour, baaking soda, baking powder and salt. In another lg bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time.
  3. Stir in vanilla. Beat in flour mix and cocoa mix. Spread batter evenly into paans. Bake about 25 min, or until a toothpick inserted in center comees out clean.
