- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups banana (3) -- mashed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- FROSTING FOR BANANA CAKE
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- - pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups 2 c powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts -- chopped corse
How To Make moist banana cake

Step 1Mix first four ingredients together. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, & salt. Add alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased 9X13 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for approx 45 minutes. Cool. Mix Frosting ingredients except nuts. Mix to spreading consistency. Frost cooled cake. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
