Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 1/2 oz
    margarine
  • 1 tsp
    instant coffee powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    ground almonds
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs, separated

How to Make Mocha Brownies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8 inch square pan. Set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter in medium bowl in microwave. Cool slightly then add coffee and vanilla. Mix together.
  3. Then add ground almonds, sugar and 4 egg YOLKS. Beat 4 egg whites until stiff. Carefully fold into the chocolate mixture.
  4. Pour into pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.
