Aunt Willie Dale has made Mississippi Mud EVERY YEAR for years for the Family Reunion. 1st dessert to be gone in a flash.So moist,and yummy.

yield 10 x15 cookie sheet

Ingredients

2 sticks butter, melted
1/3 cup cocoa powder
4 - eggs
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
dash salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
1 jar marshmallow cream
1 stick butter
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 pound powdered sugar

How To Make mississippi mud

Step 1

Melt in saucepan butter & cocoa ...set aside

Step 2

In mixing bowl beat eggs Add sugar,flour dash salt vanilla,nuts... Mix well
Step 3

Add: butter/cocoa mixture Mix well
Step 4

Pour into 10x15 greased pan Bake 350 20-25 min
Step 5

Immediately on taking from oven spread dollops of marshmellow cream (entire jar) over cake ...COOL Spread quickly yet gently
Step 6

Melt 1 stick butter,milk,and cocoa in saucepan.
Step 7

Add Powdered sugar Beat till smooth
Step 8

Spread over marshmellow cream
