Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 3 - sticks of butter
- 4 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup coconut, flaked
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 - (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
How To Make mississippi mud cake

Step 1Cream the sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 2 sticks butter, eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix Well.

Step 2Add flour, coconut and nuts. Beat for two minutes.

Step 3Bake in a greased and floured 9 by 13-inch pan at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.

Step 4When cake is done and still hot, spread the marshmallow creme over the entire top of the cake. Allow the cake to cool completely.

Step 5When cake is cool, mix powdered sugar and 1/2 cup cocoa. Cream 1 stick of butter until smooth. Add the powdered sugar mixture. Beat Well. Add milk and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until smooth. Spread on cake.
