Mississippi Mud Cake

Ingredients
-
1 ccrisco oil ( vegetable oil)
-
1 3/4 csugar
-
1/3 ccocoa
-
1 1/2 cflour
-
1 smallcan angel - flake coconut
-
4eggs, beaten
-
3 tspvanilla
-
1 1/2 cpecans, chopped
-
Pinchof salt
-
1 jar(s)marshmallow creme (not the largest size jar, it's a bit much)
-
ICING
-
1 1/2 stickbutter, melted
-
1/2 ccocoa
-
1 lbbox confectioners sugar
-
1/2 cpecans, chopped (or less)
-
2 tspvanilla
-
Pinchof salt
-
1 -3 Tbsphalf and half (if needed to make icing spreadable)
How to Make Mississippi Mud Cake
- Set marshmallow creme aside. Mix remaining ingredients well. Pour into greased and floured 10 x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and spread with 1 jar Marshmallow Creme. Allow to cool. Spread with the following icing.
- Combine icing ingredients and spread on cooled cake. Cut into squares. ( The serving size I cut is usually smaller than I normally would serve because this is VERY rich, you can decide, Lol)
