Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate wafers, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • FILLING INGREDIENTS
  • 27 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup creme de menthe mint, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make mint chocolate candy cheesecake

  • Step 1
    BASE: Combine crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 350, 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    BODY: Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
  • Step 4
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition; blend in chocolate, mint wafers, sour cream and vanilla, then pour over crust.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350, 50 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.
  • Step 7
    Chill and garnish with additional mint wafers, if desired.
