Ingredients

1 can cherry or apple pie filling (21 oz.)
1 package yellow cake mix (18 1/4 oz.)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

How To Make minister's delight

Step 1

Put pie filling in the bottom of your crock pot. (must have the tall crock pot, it doesn't work in the larger round ones)

Step 2

Combine dry cake mix and butter. (mixture will be crumbly)
Step 3

Sprinke cake mixture over pie filling.
Step 4

Sprinkle with nuts. (you can also use brown sugar and cinnamon instead of nuts)
Step 5

Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
