I love baking with fresh apples. This is a quick& yummy mini apple pie turn into finger foods. It works out great for a holiday tea party. It is a mini family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 box refrigerated pie crust,softened as directed on the box
  • 1 large baking apple, peeled, cored & thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 8 teaspoons caramel ice cream topping

How To Make mini apple apple crostatas

  • Step 1
    First pre-heat the oven to 425F. Then unroll the crust on a floured work surface. Cut into four 5 inch rounds. Then place rounds on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Step 2
    Next in a medium bowl mix the sugar & cinnamon,toss in the apple slices & mix to coat. Then divide apple slices evenly onto each center of pie rounds. Then fold 1/2 inch of the crust over the filing & pinch slightly t so that the crust lays flat on the apples.
  • Step 3
    Then bake for about 18 to 20 mins or until the crust is golden brown & apple slices are t fork tender. Then drizzle 2 Tsp. of the caramel topping over each corstata. Best serve warm with your favorite ice cream.
