This was one of my Mom's favorite cakes. She made it for the holidays and gave it to friends and family.

Ingredients
- 3 cups chopped apples
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
How To Make minerva's apple cake

Step 1Chop the apples in a food chopper of any of your favorite apples, Mom used Red Delicious to make 3cups.

Step 2Mix the other ingredients in with the apples. Mix until mixed well.

Step 3Spray a 13 x 9 inch pan. Place in cold oven and bake at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick comes out dry when inserted in cake.
