What is there to say? YUMMY! When I first got this recipe years ago I didn't have a springform pan so I used a 9 x 13 pan and it worked well. Start checking for doneness after about 50 minutes when you use this size pan.

Ingredients

  • CRUST
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup pretzel or graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • FILLING
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 3/4 cup chocolate malt powder
  • 4 large eggs, well-beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make mimi's chocolate malt cheesecake

  • Step 1
    Combine butter, sugar and pretzel or graham cracker crumbs until well combined. Pat into the bottom of a 9" springform pan. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Step 2
    Beat cream cheese in a large bowl until fluffy. Mix in sweetened condensed milk. Add melted and cooled chocolate chips, chocolate malt powder, eggs and vanilla.
  • Step 3
    Pour into crust. Bake at 300 for 65 minutes or until cheesecake springs back when lightly touched. Cool and then chill.
