This cake is easy and rather good!

Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs seperated
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries

How To Make melt in your mouth blueberry cake

  • Step 1
    Beat egg white until fluffy. Add 1/4 cup of sugar and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Cream shortening, vanilla, salt, remaining sugar and and egg yolks. Beat until fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Sift flour and baking powder, add to creamed mixture and 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk.
  • Step 4
    Fold in egg whites. Dust blueberries with flour and gently fold in as well.
  • Step 5
    Gentley put in pan, I use 13X9" and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes or until done. Do not overbake!
