In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add all of the wet ingredients.
Mix well with a wire whisk until the batter is smooth.
Pour into baking dish
Bake for 25-30 minutes (check w/toothpick to be sure its done. If NOT bake for 5-10 minutes longer or until done)
Cool Cake COMPLETELY and frost with Whipped Peanut Butter Frosting(recipe below)
2Peanut Butter Frosting:
Light And Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting:
1/2 cup of butter, room temperature
1 cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
2 cups of Confectioners Sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
5 tablespoons of heavy cream (if you don't have heavy cream you can substitute milk)
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and peanut butter until smooth.
Gradually add the vanilla, powdered sugar. Add the cream, on tablespoon at a time until it reaches the desired consistency
Beat at least 3 minutes until light and fluffy
