Ask my big boys if they love this soft cake i sometimes made two somehow cake would be gone by visiting time was over. soo good and sweet and all my family really enjoys a late nite snack sometimes

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup real mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup cold water

How To Make mayonnaise cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees: In a mixing bowl,sift together flour,sugar,cocoa,baking soda and salt. Add vanilla mayonnaise and water. beat until smooth

Step 2

Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9-inch pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center of cake and it comes out clean (about 30-35 minutes)
Step 3

pick your frosting and frost cake, swirl knife to make little curlies. cut cake and enjoy a wonderful warm soft sweet piece of cake.
