How to Make Mary's Red Velvet Cake
- 1Cream butter and sugar together. Add buttermilk and flour to sugar mixture alternately beginning and ending with buttermilk. Add everything else. Pour into a 13x9 pan or 3 round cake pans. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
Let cake cool completely before frosting.
- 2Frosting: 1 Box of powdered sugar. 10 oz., 8 oz. cream cheese, 1 stick of butter, 1 t. vanilla. Chopped pecans for the top.
