This is my daughter-in-law's moms recipe, she was a great cook.

apples, granny smith
1 1/2 c
pecans, in pieces
2 c
1 c
canola oil
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
3 c
flour, sifted, all purpose
1/2 tsp
1 Tbsp
2 tsp
baking soda

How to Make Mary's Apple Cake


  • 1Dice apples (4 large or 6 small) and pour sugar over apples. Refrigerate 1 hour, stiring a couple of times.
  • 2Mix oil, vanilla, and eggs.
  • 3Using a seive, mix dry ing. and add to wet ing. Stir in pecans, raisins and apples.
  • 4Puor into a bundt pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes @ 350 degrees.
