This is my daughter-in-law's moms recipe, she was a great cook.

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 - apples, granny smith
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, in pieces
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3 cups flour, sifted, all purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

How To Make mary's apple cake

  • Step 1
    Dice apples (4 large or 6 small) and pour sugar over apples. Refrigerate 1 hour, stiring a couple of times.
  • Step 2
    Mix oil, vanilla, and eggs.
  • Step 3
    Using a seive, mix dry ing. and add to wet ing. Stir in pecans, raisins and apples.
  • Step 4
    Puor into a bundt pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes @ 350 degrees.
