I love anything with coconut. The soup makes it moist and adds a delicious flavor. Be daring!

Ingredients

  • 18 ounces yellow cake mix
  • 11 ounces condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

How To Make marvelous coconut coffeecake

  • Step 1
    Combine cake mix, soup, water, eggs, and lemon rind and beat until blended.
  • Step 2
    Stir in 1 cup of coconut, pineapple and nuts and spread batter evenly into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.
  • Step 3
    In another bowl cut butter into flour until crumbly. stir in sugar and remaining coconut. Sprinkle over the batter. Bake 350 degrees.
