  • 3/4 c
  • 1/3 c
  • 2 large
  • 6 Tbsp
    orange marmalade
  • 2 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1/2 c
    white raisins

How to Make Marmalade Cake


  1. Cream butter until soft and add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well between each addition.
  3. Mix in marmalade, raisins and flour.
  4. Turn into greased and bottom-lined deep 7 inch cake tin.
  5. Level the surface, and bake at 350 for 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until a skewer comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 15 minutes and turn out onto rack to cool completely.
