Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 6 tablespoons orange marmalade
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup white raisins
How To Make marmalade cake

Step 1Cream butter until soft and add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

Step 2Add the eggs one at a time, beating well between each addition.

Step 3Mix in marmalade, raisins and flour.

Step 4Turn into greased and bottom-lined deep 7 inch cake tin.

Step 5Level the surface, and bake at 350 for 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until a skewer comes out clean.

Step 6Cool for 15 minutes and turn out onto rack to cool completely.
