Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 cups grated carrots
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 cups olive oil
How To Make maria’s carrot cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon & soda.

Step 3Combine sugar & oil.

Step 4Add eggs & beat well.

Step 5Add dry ingredients & blend completely.

Step 6Mix in carrots & nuts

Step 7Bake in greased & floured pans at 350 degrees for 50 minutes

Step 8Cool & frost

Step 9Bakers Frosting 5 Tbs Flour 1 Cup butter, 2 tbs vanilla, 1cup milk & 1 cup sugar

Step 10Blend four with milk over low heat til thick. Cool completely(cover top with plastic wrap. While cooling- cream butter & sugar & vanilla. Add milk mixture & beat at high speed for 5 minutes
