1Preheat oven 350*F. Butter pan and dust with flour. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. set aside. Beat butter and sugar on med-high, until fluffy, 3 to 4 min. Add eggs one and a time beating well. Beat in 1/2 c. maple syrup and vanilla.
2Add flour mixture in 3 additions, alternating with sour cream beating until just combined. Scrape batter into pan. Bake until golden brown 35 to 40 min. Let cool in pan for 15 min. Invert on to rack to cool completely.
3Beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add 2 tbls. of maple syrup, and beat until soft peaks return. Spoon cream mixture over cake and drizzle with maple syrup. Serve immediately. ENJOY!!!
