Grandpa W loved pineapple upside down cake, but this was his next favorite. I liked it because of the nuts and coconut!

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 11 ounces mandarin oranges, drained
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1 package butter recipe yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Step 1Oven to 350 degrees. Heat butter in 9x13 pan in oven until melted. Sprinkle with brown sugar, arrange orange sections on top, then sprinkle with coconut. Prepare cake mix to package directions. Stir pecans into batter. Pour into pan carefully. Bake 45-55 min or until cake springs back when touched in the center. Turn over immediately onto serving platter, leaving pan on top of cake for at least a minute to entire the topping comes off the bottom of the pan. Cool completely.
